Alyssa Scotten has been the managing director at G. Scotten Talent Center since the studio’s inception in 1999. From the beginning, she has implemented a forward-thinking and innovative approach to dance education that is respected and copied by dance educators who have witnessed the impact of GSTC programming and admired its development of superior performers and family-friendly administration. Alyssa’s distinctive vision and pursuit of excellence is unmatched. She maintains high standards for her students and her staff as the guiding hand of a creative and customer-oriented program that consistently raises the bar to achieve unexpected and unrivaled levels of student success.
In addition to creating, implementing and maintaining GSTC ‘s educational system and actively developing student talent, Alyssa is responsible for class scheduling, faculty development, new programs, admissions, web site design and maintenance, advertising and ad design and procurement and management of the studio’s business and family accounts.
Alyssa, a Hamilton Southeastern High School graduate, is married to her high-school sweetheart, Eric. They have two sons, Oliver, 20, and Elliot, 14, and both boys provide an opportunity for full-time “mom” duties, too. Alyssa is an active volunteer at Park Tudor School where her son Elliot is in 8th grade. Oliver is a recent graduate of Park Tudor and a sophomore at The Theatre School at Chicago's DePaul University majoring in Sound Design. She has been a Park Tudor Parents Association Council Parent and served weekly as a Motor Moms and Dads coach. Alyssa is the Dance Coordinator at Park Tudor School and manages their After-School Dance Program. Alyssa and her family attend Immaculate Heart of Mary in Indianapolis.
