Go The Places

I’m naturally a homebody. Staying home has always felt comfortable to me, and sometimes comfort quietly wins over adventure. There were also plenty of fears that kept me there – things that felt big in my head but probably didn’t deserve that much power.

You don’t carry those same fears.

And that’s something I hope you take advantage of.

Try the new restaurant. Take the trip. Say yes to the invitation. Go see what’s out there.

Protect your energy when you need to, of course. It’s okay to step back sometimes. Rest matters. But don’t let comfort quietly shrink your life.

Experiences matter more than we sometimes realize. Traveling, meeting new people, and trying new things doesn’t just create memories – it expands the way you think and the people you know. Many opportunities in life – friendships, partnerships, even careers – start simply by being in the room.

Life tends to reward curiosity.

I’m tired” can be a convenient go-to when invitations come up.

Sometimes that’s probably true.

But sometimes it’s simply easier to stay home.

So here’s my request:

Take a moment and check in with yourself when you say that. If you truly need the rest, take it. But if sleep can wait… let it wait.

Choose curiosity a little more often than comfort.

Go the places.
Do the things.
